Angelo Petromelis College Point Senior Center
Since 1972, this senior center has been funded by the NYC Department for the Aging (DFTA) to provide programming for seniors in the community. The dynamic and exciting programming is attributed to the participation and input of its members.

We provide transportation to and from the College Point Senior Center to seniors in a certain zone area. We also provide transportation to doctor appointments on Mondays in a certain zone area for seniors who are registered with us.
Lunch is served anywhere between 11:30AM-1:00PM
Members are welcome to join the various committees which assist in the development of the programming provided:
    Advisory Council
    Meets the first Tuesday of each month and aids in making recommendations on programming and activities of the senior center
    Menu Committee
    Meets every 6 months to review and make recommendations for lunch menu options
    Trip Committee
    Meets with certain frequency depending on trip opportunities
    Sunshine Club
    Welcomes new members to the center and reaches out to seniors who may need assistance
    Fundraising committee
    Meets when there is a fundraising need or event
