Our mission is “to provide the education, vocational training and support services to enable everyone to reach their full potential.”
Founded as a nonprofit in 1972 in Astoria, New York, HANAC’s initial concerns were to address the needs of new Greek immigrants living in the community.
Today, HANAC has become one of New York City’s largest and most successful social service organizations, touching the lives of over 30,000 individuals with a wide range of programs and services for diverse and multi-ethnic communities in four boroughs. Our programs & services include:
